This multidisciplinary performing arts festival, hosted by the Pilsen area’s Blue Rider Theatre, runs through December 17, with shows most Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 7 PM, as well as children’s matinees on selected Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM. This three-night series features live and taped presentations by artists who use sound as the central component of their work. Tonight’s installment features work by composer Jeff Kowalkowski with the percussion ensemble Jack the Dog; sound artists Alex Keller and Phillip Von Zweck; and instrument sculptor and composer Bill Close. 8 PM. In addition, the weekend will feature site-specific installation work by performance artist Rhoda Evans and sound artist M.W. Burns, which will remain on view all three days.
