Iconoclastic theatrical entrepreneur Michael Flores debuts his new play, Andy Warhol: The Factory Years. “I like to think that even if you hate Warhol, the play captures the 60s, the pioneering spirit of people trying to re-create themselves,” says Flores, the playwright and director. Jazz orchestra lovers should check out the latest program from William Russo, who conducts the Chicago Jazz Ensemble at Columbia College. Tell Me It’s the Truth is a jazz concert that features music by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Jelly Roll Morton, and Russo himself.
